The Eiffel Tower is one of the most globally recognisable icons of France. It is situated on the banks of Paris’ River Seine. The tower is deceptively light, and depending on the time of year and suns intensity, the shaft can sway as much as 18cm. Many Parisian considered the statue to be a pointless eyesore, however since its construction it has been a focal point of many important historical events, and is now considered to be a vision of beauty and strength, a reflection of the people of France.

Glasgow Tower

Glasgow Tower is one of the most modern buildings in Scotland. It is very eye catching in the Glasgow Skyline and produces an err of curiosity. The structure is unique in its design in comparison to the majority of similar towers. It is the only tower in the world which rotates a full 360 degrees. The tower is shaped like an aircraft aerofoil and has motors to rotate the tower so it is always facing into the wind, allowing for a remarkably slim structure considering its height. It is one of many attractions at the Quay Science centre village that will entertain and educate people of all ages.
